Cohabitation
In pairs (one male, one female) in a large enclosure with plenty of visual barriers – drawback: fighting within the species is common and the pair has to be separated from time to time, so a spare enclosure is part of the set-up. Keeping it singly is equally appropriate and avoids this stress. Never keep two males together, and no smaller tankmates.

Notes

After P. grandis the second-largest day gecko in captivity, more grey-green than brilliant green. A powerful bite – little handling, and move it with a container rather than by hand.
